Makerspaces are collaborative learning spaces.

Shuswap Makerspace

At the Shuswap Makerspace, we strive to promote innovation and creativity by facilitating access to learning, skills training, tools for technology, and prototype development.
Our makerspace provides members with access to equipment that can be used for woodworking, electronics, laser cutting, sound recording, metalwork, 3D printing, 3D modeling, coding, and robotics.

Memberships

The Shuswap Makerspace is accessible to the public via memberships. There are several flexible membership options to choose from. Members have access to events and workshops, tools and equipment, and shared spaces.

Please note that unsupervised access to the majority of tools in the Makerspace requires the prior completion of certification classes. See below for more info on the required certification.
